We began by browsing a few books inside and listening to a story. Then Fred the Ted told the class that he wanted to read some books outside but wasn't sure about good places to go.
And then Fred got rather excited. He decided to read a book up a tree!
After that he had to try a different tree. This one was lower down.
But the next was really high up! Fred didn't seem too scared about reading so high up! In fact I'm not so sure how he actually climbed up there.
The book was All Join In by Quentin Blake which was rather apt as all the children had to join in the fun of fishing in the pond.
After that Fred dried off on a bench surrounded by the children. Everyone chose a book to read before going back inside.
