This is *exactly* why I write. By the way, thank you for all the great recommendations about books on risk-taking...they were fabulous reads. More writing in the UK than here in the US it seems...

Thanks for your comment. Perhaps there is more material about risk in the outdoor education sector. Here in the UK the play sector have definitely played a huge part in promoting the benefits of risk.
